This class explores the theoretical aspects of design process through a series of readings, investigation, and analysis about modern and contemporary architects in search of their design manifestos. By understanding how architects convey the ideas through not only built form but also drawings and writings, students will recognize the purpose of architecture as a cultural artifact.
