Motivational and Emotional Development is a graduate-level course that focuses on the key motivational and developmental phenomena that are relevant to the practice of education and to theories of motivation and emotion that help researchers understand and conduct research on these educational processes. This focus is two-fold. The first focus is on developing expertise in terms of conceptual understanding of these phenomena. The second focus is on developing expertise in terms of greater skill as a researcher or practitioner.
