학부수준에서 필요한 미분방정식 및 좌표계의 변환 등에 대한 기본적인 수학지식을 배운다. 일반물리학에서는 뉴턴역학에 대한 기본적인 물리지식을 배웠고, 본 강의에서는 보다 정량적인 방법을 통해 고전역학계를 이해하고자 한다.
