Sara Bubb, TES columnist, author and senior lecturer at The Institute of Education, draws on her years of experience and breadth of knowledge to provide answers to NQTs' common problems. These include voice management, behaviour management, health, planning and work-life balance. Sara outlines the typical pattern of progress and the stresses of the second half of the Autumn term in the lead up to Christmas. Three teachers, who have just completed their induction year, add their own anecdotal experience of their first year's teaching and offer more survival tips for other NQTs.
