After his father died, Anil was taken out of school to work to help feed his family. In his own words, he desribes how he gets up at 5am every day to melt hundreds of glass bangles into a perfect circle for which he is paid 40p per day. It's uncomfortable work, and he can burn himself. His story is typical of many of the 250 million children involved in child labour around the world. This great pupil resource should be used in conjunction with KS3 Citizenship - Child Labour.
