◎ 강의 개요(Course Overview)∙ 중국불교에서 형성된 선이 시대에 따라 어떻게 변용되며, 그것이 한국불교에 어떻게 수용되는지, 나아가 선의 사상적, 문화적 역할과 영향이 어떠한가를 이해하는 수업이다. 나아가 선이 동아시아 불교의 공통적인 기반으로 어떻게 존재했으며, 한국의 사상과 문화에서 어떠한 기능과 의의를 갖는지를 이해하는 것을 목표로 한다.∙ This course aims for an understanding of how Sŏn Buddhism, which was formed in Chinese Buddhism, has been transformed over the ages, how it has been adopted by Korean Buddhism, and also its ideological and cultural roles and influences.
