◎ 강의 개요(Course Overview)∙ 한국불교의 건축문화를 알기 위해서는 기원과 전래라는 역사적 관점과 각 사찰이 가지고 있는 공간의 성격을 같이 살펴보아야 한다. 불교건축의 역사를 인도의 초기불교건축, 동아시아에서 성립된 선종사원건축, 우리나라의 조선시대에 확립된 산사건축이라는 세 가지 역사적 장면을 중심으로 살펴보고, 이를 바탕으로 현재 문화유산으로 보존하고 한국 불교건축을 진입 공간, 예불 공간, 승가 공간으로 구분하여 각각의 모습을 보도록 한다.∙ This course aims to understand the architectural culture of Korean Buddhism by examining its historical origin and tradition, as well as the nature of the spaces within each temple. By focusing on three historical scenes of Buddhist architecture, namely the early Buddhist architecture in India, the establishment of Zen temple architecture in East Asia, and the development of temple architecture in Korea during the Joseon Dynasty, we aim to explore the history of Buddhist architecture.
