The course will provide the students with a survey of the major currents of British literature in relation to British history from the Norman Conquest to the twentieth century. Students will read and discuss not only the primary textbook but poems, short stories, essays, and films. Every student is required to make a presentation with a well-prepared handout.
Weekly Presentation: Every student should contribute to the class by giving in-class presentation at least once with regard to the author(s) and assigned literary work(s).
Course Assignment: All students are required to submit bi-weekly reading journal to ecampus. The way to complete this assignment will be announced in class on the first class date.
