This course can be used fa broad spectrum of learners as it is based on the standards of the official Intermediate B1 German certificates (e.g. required fapplying at universities fjobs in Germany). The lectures aim at easing the challenging transition phase from A2 to the more demanding B1 level and help to improve and refine ALL four skills of language: reading, listening, writing and speaking. Typical everyday topics are comprehensively explained in terms of vocabulary and grammar. Speaking and writing skills are supported by audio sections, also introducing the practice of imitation and shadowing to deepen text understanding and improve pronunciation skills.
