◎ 강의 개요(Course Overview)∙ 이 강의에서는 연구사적ᆞ사상사적 관점에서 일본인이 이해한 한국불교의 전반적인 경향을 알아본다. 이를 위해 근대 일본의 대표적인 불교 연구자들의 연구성과를 통한 한국불교에 대한 시각, 그리고 일본의 불교 전래부터 근대까지의 한국과 일본의 불교 교류에 대해 개괄한다. 아울러 삼국시대의 유식과 화엄의 대표적인 논사들, 그리고 고려시대의 선과 정토사상이 일본에서 어떻게 연구되어왔는지, 나아가 조선시대와 식민지시대의 한국불교에 대한 일본학자의 주요 연구성과 등에 대해 설명한다.∙ This lecture will examine the overall trends in Korean Buddhism as understood by Japanese people from the perspectives of research history and intellectual history. To this end, it provides an overview of the perspectives on Korean Buddhism through the research findings of leading modern Japanese scholars of Buddhism, as well as Buddhist exchanges between Korea and Japan from the introduction of Buddhism to Japan up to modern times. It also explains how leading scholars of Yogacara and Hwaeom thought during the Three Kingdoms period, as well as Seon and Pure Land thought from the Goryeo period, have been studied in Japan, and the main research findings of Japanese scholars on Korean Buddhism during...
