The course will introduce transcultural theory as an area for major consideration for professional health care. Selected cultural groups will be studied. Cultural patterns which influence health care beliefs, care practices and illness behaviors will be integrated with transcultural theory and concepts related to the health care delivery system.

8.	People of East Indian (& Hindu) Heritage: Guest speaker	Describe Hindu heritage, residence, communication, family roles and organzation, biocultural ecology, nutrition, pregnancy and childbearing practices, death rituals and sprituality.
9.	People of Chinese Heritage 1	Describe chinese heritage, residence, communication, family roles and organzation, biocultural ecology, nutrition, pregnancy and childbearing practices, death rituals and sprituality.
