◎ 강의 개요(Course Overview)∙ 중국불교의 중요한 사상과 인물 등을 통사적으로 이해하면서 그것이 한국불교와 주고받은 영향을 살피면서 동아시아 불교의 전체적 흐름과 특징을 강의한다.∙ This lecture explores the overall flow and characteristics of East Asian Buddhism while examining the significant ideas and figures of Chinese Buddhism and their influence on Korean Buddhism. The course delves into the interplay between these two traditions through a synchronic understanding. ◎ 학습 목표(Course Objectives)∙ 본 강좌는 중국불교의 전체 흐름을 따라가며 중국불교의 중요한 사건, 사상, 인물, 신앙 등을 파악하고, 아울러 중국불교의 발전 과정에서 한국불교에 끼친 영향과 두 지역의 불교 교류를 파악하는 데 목표가 있다. 이를 통해서 중국과 한국을 포함한 고대 동아시아 불교의 전개와 발전에 대한 정보를 확대할 뿐만 아니라 현대 동아시아 국가의 종교 문화 상의 교차점을 포착하고 연대의 가능성을 제고한다.∙ The main objective of this course is to follow the overall flow of Chinese Buddhism and gain an understanding of significant events, ideas, figures, and beliefs within Chinese Buddhism.
