수업내용(Summary)사회과학 연구에서 지리정보체계(GIS)를 효과적으로 활용하는 방법을 실습과 함께 강의한다. QGIS 소프트웨어를 사용해 엑셀 데이터를 벡터 데이터로 변환하고, 지역 단위 변수로 지도를 제작하며, 라스터 자료를 활용해 수치 지리 자료로 변환하는 방법을 설명한다. 또한 최신 연구 동향을 반영하여 비정형 데이터, 빅데이터, 딥러닝 기법을 접목한 연구 방법도 실습한다. 수강생들에게는 다양한 공간 데이터를 처리하고 생산하여 연구에 적용하는 방법을 배우고 궁극적으로 실증 연구자로 성장하는 계기가 될 것이다.This course teaches how to effectively utilize the Geographic Information System (GIS) in social science research with practice. It explains how to convert Excel data into vector data using QGIS software, produce a map with regional variables, and convert it into numerical geographic data using raster data. In addition, we will practice research methods that combine unstructured data, big data, and deep learning techniques to reflect the latest research trends.
