수업내용 ‘한류’는 1990년대 중반 이후 시작되어 오늘날 ‘K-콘텐츠’라는 이름을 얻게 되었다. 한류와 K-콘텐츠는 동시대 대중문화와 문화콘텐츠의 초국적 흐름을 드러내는 현상이다. 이 강좌는 [1] 한류와 K-콘텐츠의 개념과 역사를 살펴보고, 오늘날 한류와 K-콘텐츠의 위치를 확인한다. [2] 한류와 K-콘텐츠의 문화적, 산업적 의미를 살펴본다. [3] 한류와 K-콘텐츠의 글로벌 수용과 반작용에 대해 살펴본다. 한국, 아시아, 글로벌로 이어지는 동심원적 범주의 문화콘텐츠적 현상을 통해 한류와 K-콘텐츠에 관한 인식의 지평을 확대한다."Hallyu" began in the mid-1990s and is now named "K-Contents".
