In the last film in this series, Howard Lisle introduces a free and easily-obtainable resource which can be used to open the window on to an entire region for Key Stage 1 and 2 children. The banana box may seem an unlikely prop but Howard demonstrates to primary geography teachers how each box contains clues to where its contents have come from. Studying several boxes at once can help pupils build a better understanding of the Caribbean region, including farming methods, its weather and even how it fits within international trade.
