This real-life maths problem focuses on division and can be used as a lesson starter in KS2 maths. The problem: A dog owner has 10 puppies. At each mealtime there is 400g of food to divide between the puppies. How many grams of food will each puppy receive? See the accompanying teachers' notes for suggested extension activities.
