Tottenhall Infant School in Enfield, North London, recognises the importance of Physical Education in child development, and has developed a number of strategies to give children a head start at Key Stage 1. Covering the National Curriculum basics for Key Stage 1 Physical Education, the programme includes a look at the school's emphasis on making a smooth transition in movement practice from Reception to Year 1. It also shows how the school uses 'Tiger Teams' to help children with motor co-ordination problems.
