A Shropshire Christmas' follows a day in the life of a primary school as the children present their end of term production, â€˜Sheik, Rattle and Rollâ€™, a modern Nativity story, in the local church. The headteacher and deputy work hard to produce a high standard of performance which they say benefits not just the children but also encourages links with parents and the local community. The programme captures a moment in time reminiscent of all school plays, whether in rural Shropshire or the inner cities.
