전자기현상에대한 전반적인 이해를 깊이한다. 우선 간단한 벡터와 좌표계에대해서 공부를 하고, 전기장에대한 이론과 자기장의 기본적인 개념을 살펴보고, 맥스웰방정식을 통해서 전자기현상의 체계를 완성한다.
