This course covers fundamental electrochemistry required for principles

involved in electrochemical energy conversion and recent

electrochemical devices. The materials to be covered include:

thermodynamics for electrochemistry and electrode kinetics, as well as

mathematical techniques necessary to tackle electrochemical problems,

at the beginning of the semester. We will then move on to the

description of various electrochemical techniques and devices. In the

later part of the semester, we will cover various applications of

electrochemistry.
