This course is designed to teach American-style university curriculum in English. The subject is Early American history, ranging from pre-colonial times to 1865. The goal of the class is to provide students with a basic understanding of Early American history, and to teach critical thinking skills. Students are expected to write a research paper, which requires research skills, organizing and categorizing information, and writing in a coherent and logical manner.
