Most of observational data in space physics are obtained as time series. Since these time series contain physical quantities, the variations of physical quantities in time series represent temporal changes in system or motion through spatial gradients. So, it is important to analyze these time series data for understanding magnetospheric physics. In this course, we will discuss wave analysis, correlation analysis, and discontinuity analysis.
