This mini-course is designed to provide an introduction to the field of supramolecular chemistry while focusing on one class of substrates that have traditionally received less attention within the community, namely anion recognition. While subject to modification, four lectures are currently planned. They will be split between a summary of historical precedent and contributions from others and ongoing research activities. They will be presented using Powerpoint, and the coverage will be at the level of beginning graduate students, but advanced undergraduates should also be able to profit from the course.
