This course provides an in-depth understanding of the fundamental problems in the area of mobile networks and studies proposed solutions for the problems. The course concentrates on networking issues on wireless mobile network systems, including digital modulation techniques, media access schemes, cellular networks, wireless LANs, mobile ad-hoc networks, mobility management schemes, routing, multicasting, TCP over wireless networks, etc.
