이 강좌는 첫째, 의례의 개념과 범주, 종류, 교의적 배경, 설행목적, 인적 구성, 설행절차, 의례집, 각 지역별/시대별 변용현상에 대해 이해할 수 있습니다.
둘쨰, 고대 베다종교의 관습을 수용한 인도불교에서 중국불교로, 다시 한국불교로 자리 잡는 전입과 수용, 재해석, 확장의 과정을 이해하고, 각 범주별 의례에 대한 학습을 통해 한국 불교 의례의 차별성과 동아시아 불교 안에서의 보편성을 확인할 수 있습니다.

In this course, we examine Buddhist ritual culture that has been reinterpreted and reproduced in Korean Buddhism. The purpose of this course is to understand the process of transfer, acceptance, reinterpretation, and expansion of Indian Buddhism, which accepted the customs of the ancient Vedic religion, to Chinese Buddhism, and then to Korean Buddhism. Through learning about the rituals of each category, Korean Buddhist rituals will be differentiated and East Asian Buddhism will be universal.
