It's the end of the NQT year and the final stretch of teaching before the Summer holidays for two Year 6 and Year 5 NQTs, Lucy Timmons and Jody Todd. The term isn't over yet with report writing, parents' evening and end of year activities still to face. With several weeks left until the end of term, they are learning how to keep themselves and their classes motivated in the run up to the Summer holidays. Reflecting on the year that has passed, the two prepare for the year ahead, both for themselves and for their pupils who are changing classes and schools.
