This course covers the fundamentals of core devices which are used for interfaces in various electronic systems. In relation to material characteristics, the operating principles and applications of various small-scale sensors and actuators among others will be mainly reviewed and discussed. The design, fabrication and testing procedures for those devices along with functional requirements will also be discussed.
