Abstract:
Differential and integral calculus have become an important part of natural science, engineering, economics and so on. Observed from the microscopic view using integral calculus, very complicated looking phenomena may show very simple characteristics. General characteristics on a large scale may be elucidated by integration based on the information obtained at the microscopic level. These two processes, differentiation and integration, are closely related. The goal of this lecture is to develop the student's ability to think and describe phenomena in logical ways as well as develop their understanding and application of differential and integral calculus.
