The ministry of education operates WCU, World Class University to improve the quality of education and studies of domestic universities. This project supports studies led to future development of Korea and launching of new major/department for training new academic generation. Types of WCU's supports 1) Launching major/department, 2) Inviting individual expert 3) Inviting world's expert. Selected school by he third type offers special lectures of world's most renowned Nobel-prize winners for students and the related. KOCW tries to share those lectures with the public by offering by on-line serivce and meet the needs of the public towards higher education and specific acedmic fields. This service releases in the middle of April in 2009 and plans to expand numbers of lectures. |
